Flake ice

The refrigeration system of the flake ice machine consists of a compressor, an expansion valve, a condenser and an evaporator to form a closed refrigeration cycle. The evaporator adopts a vertical cylinder design, and is equipped with key components such as ice knives, spindles, sprinklers and water receiving trays. Driven by the reducer, these components run slowly in a counterclockwise direction.

The ice-making process is as follows: the water supply enters the water distribution device through the water inlet of the evaporator, and is evenly sprayed on the inner wall of the evaporator through the sprinkler to form a uniform water film. The water film quickly cools after heat exchange with the refrigerant in the internal flow channel of the evaporator, and condenses into a thin ice layer on the inner wall. The rotating ice knife scrapes and breaks the ice layer to form flake ice and falls into the ice storage device through the ice drop port. The unfrozen water is collected by the water receiving tray, returned to the cold water tank through the return water port, and enters the next round of ice-making process under the action of the circulating pump.

This design realizes continuous and efficient ice-making operations while ensuring the recycling of water resources.
